What does it mean to
transfer registrars?
If you already own a
domain, you registered it using a domain name registrar. By using our
Transfer Registrar tool, you are simply transferring your domain from
the registrar you originally registered with and making UnicDomains.com
the registrar of record. (Please note, there is a 60-day transfer hold -
which means you have to wait two months from the initial registration
before you can transfer your domain.)

can save yourself some money by taking advantage of UnicDomains.com's

How
long does it take to transfer a domain?
It
takes anywhere between 1 to 7 days. If you answer to the confirmation
e-mail immediately and the registrar responds quickly to our request to
transfer your domain then the domain might be transferred on the very
same day. The average transfer takes 3 days.
I tried to transfer my
domain name to another registrar and the transfer was denied. What
could be the reason? Before you transfer away,
make sure that you have removed the registrar-lock from your domain name
if you had bought that option. Even if you do not have registrar-lock
active on your domain, it is possible that the transfer will be denied
the first time you try to transfer away. If this happens, simply
initiate another transfer and the transfer should proceed.
You will need to approve the transfer from a verification email that is
sent to the administrative contact for the domain name when we receive a
request for transfer.. Make sure that you have access to that email
address and that you follow the instructions to approve the transfer.
